LOS ANGELES, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- ABC says its U.S. sitcom "Cougar Town" will return for a third season, but an exact air date hasn't been determined yet.

The show starring Courteney Cox was last seen in May.

"The reality is that 'Cougar Town' is having one of its best [seasons]," TVGuide.com quoted ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee as saying.

"I think you'll find when we launch it, that we'll bring a big, strong message that we love the show. We haven't yet landed where it's going to go, but it's tentatively in there for March," Lee said. "We have a good launch pad for it. We didn't have a place earlier on, but when it comes, we hope it will do extremely well."
