LOS ANGELES, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Alec Baldwin made his return to Twitter Saturday after a brief hiatus with a short message: "Back on Twitter."
The "30 Rock" star deactivated his Twitter account after being kicked off a Dec. 6 American Airlines flight for refusing to turn off his phone before the plane could take off, E!Online reported.
Baldwin also tweeted a "Happy New Year" to his followers and his whereabouts for the day with girlfriend Hilaria Thomas: "Last day in Paraiso with @hilariathomas."
Baldwin was playing the Words With Friends application on his phone when flight attendants asked him to turn off the device. He said he would never fly with American Airlines again because it is "where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950's find jobs as flight attendants."
