Rancic thanks hubby for post-surgery help

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- U.S. television host Giuliana Rancic says her husband Bill has been a big help as she recovers from breast cancer surgery.

Rancic, host of "E! News," said on Twitter Friday she was dedicated to Bill for tending to her in the days following her Dec. 13 double mastectomy.

The tweet also included photos of a stack of waffles, which she said was part of a recovery diet of sweets that included ice cream and pancakes.

People magazine said Rancic signed the message with the hashtag "Hot Male Nurse."

Bill Rancic said recently his 37-year-old wife was recovering well and was "cracking jokes" soon after surgery.
