LOS ANGELES, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Giuliana Rancic's husband Bill says the U.S. reality TV personality is doing well after undergoing a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. The "Fashion Police" co-host announced in October she is being treated for breast cancer.

"G is doing really well," Bill Rancic told E! News Wednesday about the operations his wife had this week. "Her surgery lasted about four hours and the doctors were very pleased with the result. She had a little bit of pain through the night but is feeling much better this morning and was cracking jokes."
"I want to thank all the viewers and fans for their support and prayers," Giuliana said in a statement. "The tweets and notes have not gone unnoticed. I am very grateful."
The Rancics star in Style Network's "Giuliana and Bill" show. He is a real-estate developer and the first winner of the business-themed competition series "The Apprentice."
