LOS ANGELES, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Mimi Rogers will play the mother of Ashton Kutcher's character Walden in an upcoming episode of the U.S. sitcom "Two and a Half Men," CBS said Tuesday.

Rogers will appear in the show set to air Dec. 12.

"Walden's mother arrives and Alan is smitten with her, even as she reveals a secret about Walden's past that sends him into a downward spiral," CBS said in a synopsis.

Jon Cryer plays Alan on the show.

Rogers' small-screen credits include "The Rousters" and "Paper Dolls."
