NBC orders pilot for Silverman comedy

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- NBC has ordered a pilot for a half-hour single-camera comedy starring U.S. comedian Sarah Silverman, Deadline.com reported.

Silverman will play a woman trying to start over after ending a decade-long, live-in relationship.

The celebrity news Web site said Silverman penned the screenplay for the as-yet-untitled show with Dan Sterling and Jon Schroeder, writer-producers from "The Sarah Silverman Program," which ran on Comedy Central from 2007 to 2010.
