Syfy plans James Bond holiday marathon

NEW YORK, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- U.S. cable network Syfy says it plans to air 15 James Bond films during the Thanksgiving holiday.

The secret agent movie marathon will kick off with a Nov. 23 midnight showing of "You Only Live Twice."

Screenings of "Thunderball," "Goldfinger," "Die Another Day," "The Spy Who Loved Me" and "Quantum of Solace" will be among those 007 flicks shown between 8 a.m. and 3 a.m. ET/PT Nov. 24, continuing Nov. 25, at 8:30 a.m. with six more Bond films throughout the day, Syfy said.

"Skyfall," the next installment in the Bond franchise, is scheduled for release in the United Kingdom and Ireland Oct. 26, 2012 and in North America Nov. 9, 2012. It will once again star "Quantum of Solace" and "Casino Royale" actor Daniel Craig as the suave British secret agent. The cast of "Skyfall" will also include Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney and Ben Whishaw.
