LOS ANGELES, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Piers Morgan announced via Twitter Wednesday he will not return as a judge on "America's Got Talent" next season.
"I'm leaving America's Got Talent after 6 wonderful years. Turned out that juggling's harder than it looks, so I'm going to focus on CNN," Morgan said in his online message.
Morgan has been the host of CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" since January.
The Hollywood Reporter said NBC did not return its calls seeking comment regarding Morgan's planned exit.
