CULVER CITY, Calif., Oct. 26 (UPI) -- The publicity department for ABC's new drama series "Pam Am" is offering tips on how to dress like a sexy 1960s stewardess for Halloween.
The "Pan Am" page on ABC's Web site offers tips and tools on how to replicate the look, including patterns of the Pan Am wings lapel pin and stewardess cap. It even suggests wearing the official lipstick of Pan Am, which was Revlon's Persian Melon -- still available at local drugstores as shade 585.
"The 'Pan Am Blue' is close to a Royal Blue," ABC said Wednesday in a news release, suggesting suits can be found at a local thrift store. "If you're handy, you can tailor your jacket to make it fit your ladylike figure and shorten the sleeves."
Nylon hosiery is a must, the Web site said. Make sure it isn't too sheer, bare legs weren't in fashion back then. The Pan Am flight bag can be made by modifying a bowling bag, ABC said.
