Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars to perform at EMA show

LONDON, Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Pop stars Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have been booked to perform at the 2011 MTV EMA show in Belfast, organizers said Monday.

Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars join previously announced EMA performers Coldplay, Jessie J and LMFAO, all of whom will rock the Odyssey Arena; Red Hot Chili Peppers, who will perform at Belfast's Ulster Hall; and Snow Patrol and Jason Derulo, who will sing at Belfast's City Hall.

Set to be presenters at the Nov. 6 event are "Jersey Shore" stars Snooki Polizzi and Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, as well as Ashley Rickards from MTV's new scripted series "Awkward."

This is the first time the MTV EMA ceremony will be presented from three locations throughout the show's host city, the cable network said.

Singer and actress Selena Gomez is to serve as host of the prize presentation.
