LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- NBC has ordered six additional episodes of its New York-set police drama "Prime Suspect," Deadline.com reported Wednesday.
The development is a positive sign for the remake of the British drama but the network has not yet decided whether to order a complete first season, Deadline.com said.
The network previously announced it ordered full seasons of its new comedies "Up All Night" and "Whitney." It recently canceled the freshman drama "The Playboy Club" and comedy "Free Agents."
"Prime Suspect" stars Maria Bello, Aidan Quinn, Kirk Acevedo and Brian O'Byrne.
