Teen solves centuries-old math problem
NEW YORK, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Former U.S. President Bill Clinton has been booked as a guest on "Late Show with David Letterman," CBS said Thursday.
Clinton, who served as commander in chief from 1993 to 2001, is to appear on Wednesday's edition of the program.
"This marks President Clinton's eighth visit to the 'Late Show,'" CBS announced in a news release. "He last appeared on the broadcast Sept. 20, 2010, and made his first visit to the show Sept. 11, 2002, the first anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Coming off the seventh annual meeting of his Clinton Global Initiative, held in New York City the week of Sept. 19, President Clinton is also focusing his efforts on 'A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation.' An all-star group, including Lady Gaga, Bono and The Edge, Usher, Kenny Chesney and more, will come together to celebrate the work and impact of President Clinton and his foundation in this special event, held live at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 15."
