TMZ quoted Hurwitz as saying a shortened season will catch fans up on what the characters have been doing, then lead into a planned film.
"We will do 10 episodes and the movie," E! News reported the show's former star Jason Batemen said via Twitter. "Probably shoot them all together next summer for a release in early '13. VERY excited!"
