Eddie Izzard to guest star on 'Good Wife'

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- British actor and comedian Eddie Izzard is to guest star on an upcoming episode of the U.S. legal drama "The Good Wife," CBS said.

Izzard starred on TV's "The Riches." His film credits include "Ocean's 12" and "Valkyrie."

He will appear in the Oct. 2 episode of "Wife" called "The Death Zone."

"When Alicia wins a verdict in a libel case involving a British businessman, she must quickly learn to navigate English Law when the case is retried in British court via satellite," CBS said in a synopsis. "Eddie Izzard guest stars as Queen's Council James Thrush."

Julianna Margulies plays Alicia.
