Teen solves centuries-old math problem

HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- NBC says it has signed on for the pilot of a new sit-com created by Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi.
DeGeneres will be the executive producer of the untitled project, which will feature de Rossi in a lead role as one of two sisters.
The Hollywood Reporter said the show will come out of DeGeneres' Warner Bros. TV unit with Don Todd, formerly of "Samantha Who," heading up the writing department.
DeGeneres this week began the ninth season of her daytime talk show while de Rossi is coming off a stint on ABC's "Better off Ted."
