Golden Globes ceremony set for Jan. 15

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Sept. 9 (UPI) -- The 69th annual Golden Globe Awards show will take place Jan. 15, 2012, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association said Friday.

Produced by dick clark productions in association with the HFPA, the ceremony is to take place at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The show, which honors the previous year's best in television and film, is to be broadcast on NBC.

The 2011 Golden Globe Awards was watched by 17 million.
