TBS to air 'Big Bang Theory' repeats

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 15 (UPI) -- TBS announced plans Monday to air repeats of the U.S. sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" starting with the first season of the show.

Starring Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar, the series will join the cable network's prime-time lineup Sept. 20.

The show is scheduled to air Tuesdays and Thursday nights. It stars Galecki and Parsons as brilliant physicists whose lives are turned upside down when a free-spirited beauty moves in next door.

Created by Chuck Lorre, the series is preparing to enter its fifth season on CBS.
