CHICAGO, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd has married Lamar Sally in Chicago, two days after her counterpart on the show, Joy Behar, married, her representative said.
Shepherd and Sally were married Saturday in Shepherd's hometown at the Fairmont Hotel, People reported.
Shepherd planned a big wedding from the start, People said.
"His family's from Detroit and mine are from Chicago, and we've got really close friends that we want to share the day with, so it's going to be pretty big," Shepherd previously told People.
Shepherd tweeted before the ceremony, saying: "Sitting in the room in my gown waiting for Sal & groomsmen to take their pics … can't let him see me b4 the wedding … but I'm bored as heck."
Then, shortly before the ceremony, Shepherd tweeted: "What happens when you are in your wedding dress and you have to tinkle? Uh-oh!"
Shepherd's eight bridesmaids included "The View" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, actress/comedian Niecy Nash and Yvette Nicole Brown from "Community." Her son Jeffrey, 6, walked her down the isle.
Shepherd, who also is part of the cast of "30 Rock," reportedly spent months working out for her wedding. It will air as a special on the Style network Sept. 13.
Joy Behar married her beau of 29 years, Steve Janowitz, in a private ceremony Thursday in New York City.
