Stars line up for guest spots on 'Alphas'

NEW YORK, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Garret Dillahunt, Summer Glau, Alaina Huffman, Rebecca Mader and Brent Spiner have signed up for guest spots on the new U.S. series "Alphas," Syfy said.

Lindsay Wagner and Peter Wingfield are also set to appear this summer on the series, along with previously announced recurring guest star Valerie Cruz.

"Alphas," which follows a clandestine group of ordinary people whose unique neurological condition equips them with extraordinary physical abilities, premiered on the cable network last month.

The show stars David Strathairn, Malik Yoba, Warren Christie, Azita Ghanizada, Ryan Cartwright and Laura Mennell.
