LOS ANGELES, July 29 (UPI) -- Veteran actor Tom Skerritt is to guest star on the second part of Season 3 of the USA Network series "White Collar," TVGuide.com reported Friday.
Skerritt, 77, has appeared in the films "Steel Magnolias," "Ice Castles," "Top Gun," "M*A*S*H*" and "Harold & Maude," as well as TV's "Leverage," "Brothers & Sisters," "The Grid," "Picket Fences" and "Cheers."
TVGuide.com said he will play Alan Mitchell, the psychiatrist father of "White Collar" regular Elizabeth, played by Tiffani Thiessen.
The final six episodes of the season are to begin airing in January.
