LOS ANGELES, July 25 (UPI) -- Actor John Goodman is to play a recurring role on the U.S. sitcom "Community" during the show's upcoming third season, TVGuide.com reported Monday.
Goodman, 59, is best known for his work on the TV shows "Roseanne," "The West Wing" and "Damages."
He recently signed on to appear in six episodes of "Community," playing Vice Dean Laybourne, the head of Greendale Community College's air conditioning repair school, TVGuide.com said.
