NEW YORK, July 18 (UPI) -- Businesswoman and reality television personality Ivanka Trump announced via Twitter she has given birth to her first child, a daughter.

Trump appears on her father Donald Trump's TV series "The Celebrity Apprentice." She married Jared Kushner, owner of the New York Observer newspaper, in 2009.

"This morning [Jared] and I welcomed a beautiful and healthy little baby girl into the world," People.com quoted Trump as posting on Twitter Sunday. "We feel incredibly grateful and blessed. Thank you all for your support and well wishes! We have our work cut out for us to ensure that our daughter is grounded and not spoiled."
