LOS ANGELES, July 13 (UPI) -- The third season of the television drama series "Rookie Blue" is to begin shooting this summer in Toronto, its producers said.
ABC and its Canadian producing partner Global jointly announced the show's renewal Wednesday.
"Rookie Blue" is about five young, ambitious rookie police officers "who navigate the emotional trials and tribulations of their professional and personal lives," the producers said in a synopsis.
The show stars Missy Peregrym, Gregory Smith, Charlotte Sullivan, Enuka Okuma, Travis Milne, Ben Bass and Eric Johnson.
