Cross-country drive on 2 gallons of gas
BOSTON, June 21 (UPI) -- Recording artist Lionel Richie has been booked to perform on the "Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular," CBS said.
The special is to be broadcast live on the network from the Charles River Esplanade in Boston July 4.
Richie will perform some of his biggest hits with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra under the direction of conductor Keith Lockhart, CBS announced Tuesday.
Actor and Boston-area native Michael Chiklis is to serve as host of the special.
