BURBANK, Calif., May 19 (UPI) -- Conan O'Brien will tape episodes of his late-night talk show "Conan" in New York and Chicago next season, TBS said.

This will mark the first time O'Brien goes on the road with his chat show, which usually tapes in Burbank, Calif.

O'Brien will set up shop at the Beacon Theater in New York Oct. 31 through Nov. 3 to celebrate the first anniversary of his arrival at TBS. It will be O'Brien's first stint in New York since he served as host of "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" from 1993 and 2009.

"Conan" also will tape episodes in Chicago in 2012, TBS said Wednesday.
