LOS ANGELES, May 17 (UPI) -- Actor Kelsey Grammer has filed papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court requesting sole custody of his two children with his ex-wife, Camille Grammer.

Kelsey Grammer is an Emmy Award winner best known for his work on TV's "Cheers" and "Frasier."

Camille Grammer is a cast member of the reality series "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

The couple married in 1997 and their divorce was finalized this year. They have two children -- Mason, 9, and Jude, 6. Kelsey Grammer married his fifth wife, Kayte Walsh, in February.

People.com said Tuesday Kelsey Grammer has gone to court to fight for primary physical custody of his kids with Camille.

"Any statement would be inappropriate," Kelsey Grammer's publicist told the Web site. "The filing speaks for itself."
