NEW YORK, May 14 (UPI) -- NBC has reportedly taken a pass on David E. Kelley's new "Wonder Woman" television series, sources told E! News.
E! said the pilot for the series, starring Adrianne Palicki of "Friday Night Lights," received mixed reviews even though Palicki's performance apparently was well received.
Neither Kelley nor NBC had any immediate official comment; however, E! said cast member Tracie Thomas said on Twitter the deal had fallen through. "That just goes to show you: There is no such thing as a 'sure thing' in this biz," she wrote.
Kelley is now free to shop "Wonder Woman" to another network, although E! said its rejection by NBC would no doubt make it a tougher sell.
