LOS ANGELES, May 13 (UPI) -- Aspiring rocker James Durbin has been eliminated from the singing competition show "American Idol" in Los Angeles.
The show's top three are now Haley Reinhart, Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery.
"I worked so damn hard to get here," CBS News quoted Durbin as saying tearfully after he learned his fate Thursday night. "I did so much stuff that's never been done on the show before."
Ryan Seacrest is the host of "Idol." Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler are the show's judges.
