WASHINGTON, May 12 (UPI) -- Will Ferrell is to be presented with the 2011 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor this fall, The Kennedy Center in Washington said Thursday.
The 14th annual award presentation is to take place Oct. 23 in the center's concert hall.
Organizers said a cast of top entertainers will pay tribute to the humor and accomplishments of the comedic television and motion picture star.
The former "Saturday Night Live" cast member has appeared in the films "Anchorman," "Old School," "Stepbrothers" and "Talladega Nights."
