Boreanaz says 'Bones' will be back

LOS ANGELES, May 3 (UPI) -- Actor David Boreanaz has announced via Twitter that his U.S. crime drama, "Bones," has been renewed for a seventh season.

"Season 7 is GO for Bones," EW.com said Boreanaz posted in a brief online message.

Fox declined to comment on whether the show has been renewed, EW.com said Tuesday.

In the series, Boreanaz plays an FBI agent and Emily Deschanel plays a forensic anthropologist, who team up to solve crimes.
