LOS ANGELES, April 28 (UPI) -- "Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre is reworking the sitcom without former star Charlie Sheen, The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday.
Sheen was fired last month because of his substance abuse and erratic behavior mid-way through the series' eighth season. He is suing the show's producers for breach of contract.
The entertainment industry trade newspaper said Lorre is developing a new version of "Men," which will focus on Jon Cryer's nice-guy character Alan instead of Sheen's playboy Charlie.
The revamped show will also feature the introduction of a new, yet-to-be-cast character, the report said.
