Syfy posts summer lineup

NEW YORK, April 16 (UPI) -- Syfy will debut a couple new reality series as part of the U.S. television channel's new summer lineup it unveiled this week.

Syfy also announced the return dates for three series as well as the premier of "Alphas," a new series about a team of investigators who tackle mysteries that have baffled the conventional thinkers at the CIA and Pentagon.

"Alphas" will premier July 11, right after the season premier of "Eureka," The Hollywood Reporter said.

July 13 will see a new season of "Ghost Hunters" and the debut of "Legend Quest," in which an archaeologist searches for legendary artifacts.

June will see the premier of "Haunted Collector," featuring paranormal investigators who track down so-called haunted items that have been a source of trouble to their owners.

Syfy also announced its original summer movie lineup starting with "Red Faction: Origins," starring Robert Patrick, on June 4.
