Michelle Obama to appear on 'Gayle King'

CHICAGO, April 16 (UPI) -- Michelle Obama will appear on the "Gayle King Show" this week to talk about a program that supports U.S. military families, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The Reporter said in an exclusive the first lady will appear live Tuesday with King and Jill Biden, the wife of Vice President Joe Biden, to discuss the Joining Forces Initiative.

King's show is part of the Oprah Winfrey Network. Michelle Obama and her husband, President Barack Obama, also will tape an interview with Winfrey to air May 2 as Winfrey's long-running talk show winds down at the end of the month.

The Reporter said King's guest list next week also includes Jamie Foxx, Tracy Morgan, and Naomi and Wynonna Judd.
