Barack Obama set for 'Oprah' chat

WASHINGTON, April 13 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama and wife, Michelle, are to be interviewed on one of the last episodes of "The Oprah Winfrey Show," a White House official said.

The Obamas are to sit for the chat April 27 in Chicago, their former hometown and the city where the popular syndicated talk show is taped, the Chicago Tribune reported.

The interview is to air May 2. "Oprah" is now wrapping up its 25th and final season.The last original episode of the show is to air May 25.

Winfrey was a vocal supporter of Obama during his 2008 presidential campaign.
