The actress is to play Ann Ewing, the latest wife of Bobby Ewing, played by Patrick Duffy, on "Dallas," TVGuide.com said Wednesday.

Duffy, Larry Hagman and Linda Gray, the stars of the original version of the show, are to reprise their roles of Bobby, J.R. and Sue Ellen in the pilot for the updated edition.

The ensemble also includes Jordana Brewster, Jesse Metcalfe and Josh Henderson.

The original "Dallas" ran from 1978 to 1991 and followed the exploits of the wealthy Ewing family.
