UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., March 15 (UPI) -- NBC says it has renewed its U.S. late-night show "Last Call with Carson Daly" for an 11th season, to air in 2011-12.
The announcement was made Tuesday by NBC's Rick Ludwin, executive vice president of late night and prime-time series, and Nick Bernstein, vice president of late night and prime-time series.
"I am excited to continue with what we are doing here at 'Last Call,'" Daly said in a statement. "We give our viewers something unique and interesting every night to watch and I am very proud of that."
"'Last Call' is enjoying its best season yet and its ratings are up," added Ludwin. "We're pleased it's going to continue."
Daly also was tapped recently to serve as host of NBC's upcoming reality competition show "The Voice," which is to premiere April 26.
