LOS ANGELES, March 17 (UPI) -- The Black Eyed Peas have been booked to perform at next month's 2011 Kids' Choice Awards show in Los Angeles, Nickelodeon said Monday.

The ceremony is to take place April 2 at the USC Galen Center, with comic actor Jack Black serving as host.

"There is no better way to celebrate the year's flagship TV event for kids than with a medley by first-time KCA performers The Black Eyed Peas," Marjorie Cohn, president of original programming and development for Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group and executive producer of the show, said in a statement. "The larger-than-life energy they will deliver on the stage will make for an unforgettable evening."
