LOS ANGELES, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- "Law and Order: Los Angeles" will be taken off the television schedule next month, and a return date has not yet been determined, NBC told E! News.

The news comes shortly after the departures of cast-mates Regina Hall, Megan Boone and Skeet Ulrich were announced. Stars Alfred Molina and Terrence Howard are to remain with the show as it is reworked.

E! News said the series is to be removed from the NBC schedule Feb. 8 and is to return on a date still to be determined.

"Law and Order: Los Angeles," the latest entry in the popular crime drama franchise, premiered last fall.
