'Swan,' 'Fighter' earn WGA Award nods

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- "Black Swan," "The Fighter," "Inception," "The Kids Are All Right" and "Please Give" are up for the Writers Guild of America Award for Original Screenplay.

The guild announced its nominations Tuesday.

Winners are to be revealed at the 2011 Writers Guild Awards ceremonies Feb. 5 in Los Angeles and New York.

Nominated for the award for Adapted Screenplay are "127 Hours," "I Love You Phillip Morris,"

"The Social Network," "The Town" and "True Grit."

In the running for the Documentary Screenplay prize are "Enemies of the People," "Freedom Riders," "Gasland," "Inside Job," "The Two Escobars" and "Who is Harry Nilsson (And Why is Everybody Talkin' About Him)?"
