NEW YORK, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Sherri Shepherd's publicist says the co-host of "The View" is engaged to marry U.S. television writer Lamar Sally.
The couple have been dating for more than a year.
Shepherd's representative told UsMagazine.com the TV personality plans to marry Sally in Chicago in August.
Shepherd is an actress who has appeared on the sitcoms "Less than Perfect" and "Everybody Loves Raymond."
