MALIBU, Calif., Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Television star Valerie Bertinelli says she is incredibly happy after tying the knot with longtime boyfriend Tom Vitale this weekend.

The "Hot in Cleveland" star and Vitale were married in a small ceremony at their Malibu home, People magazine reported Sunday.

"We are so happy," Bertinelli said.

About 100 guests, including Bertinelli's 19-year-old son, Wolfie, witnessed the marriage Saturday.

Bertinelli, 50, met her 49-year-old financial-planner husband in 2004 and became engaged last March during a vacation in Italy, People said.
