LOS ANGELES, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- U.S. media mogul Joe Francis has separated from broadcast journalist Christina McLarty, his wife of less than two months, sources told UsMagazine.com.
"Things completely changed in the relationship and it just became painful," said a source close to the couple, who married in early November. "They are not sure if they are going to divorce yet. They're just taking some time apart."
Francis' publicist has denied McLarty moved out of the Bel Air, Calif., home she shared with the Girls Gone Wild founder.
"The rumors are true despite the rep's denial, but that's because he's hoping to reconcile with her," the source, whose name was not reported, told UsMagazine.com. "It's just a spat. They've turned to friends for counsel."
