LOS ANGELES, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Nicolette Sheridan has dropped some allegations in her lawsuit against ABC and "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry, Los Angeles court records show.
A joint stipulation filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court leaves the case intact, but will likely be worth far less than the $20 million in damages it originally sought, the Hollywood Reporter said Saturday.
Sheridan responded to her dismissal from her role as Edie Britt in "Desperate Housewives" by suing ABC and Cherry in April.
The stipulation drops allegations of intentional infliction of emotional distress. In exchange, the defendants won't insist Sheridan submit to a psychological exam, the Reporter said.
