LOS ANGELES, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Author and personal finance adviser Suze Orman is to make a guest appearance on the U.S. game show "The Price is Right," CBS said.

Orman will take the stage on the Dec. 16 edition of the show to give financial advice after creating an extravagant showcase featuring her favorite destination and items, including a trip to Venice and a hybrid Honda Insight, the network said Thursday.

Orman is the star of "The Suze Orman Show" on CNBC. She also serves as host of "Suze Orman's Financial Freedom" on QVC and is a contributing editor to "O" The Oprah Magazine and the Costco Connection.
