LOS ANGELES, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- More than 3.5 million people tuned in to watch the third episode of the documentary series "Sarah Palin's Alaska," TLC said Friday.

The installment aired last Sunday. The eight-part show premiered Nov. 14.

The program is currently TLC's No. 1 rated show, the cable network said.

A synopsis says the series takes viewers along with 2008 Republican former vice presidential nominee and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her family "to explore Alaska's magnificent environments, through adventures shared with its fascinating people and diverse culture."
