NEW YORK, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Millions of people Thursday watched the 84th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City on television, NY1 News said.

Additionally, tens of thousands of people lined the chilly parade route for the annual extravaganza, joined this year by entertainers Kanye West and Gladys Knight.

Three giant balloons are making their parade debut, including "Po" from Kung Fu Panda, the Wimpy Kid, and the Kool-Aid Man; the Energizer Bunny and Spiderman will join them.

Seven new floats, including Mount Rushmore, an Elf Dance Party, and a giant wood-burning oven overflowing with gingerbread goodies, will also make their debut.
