LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- British TV personality Vernon Kay has signed on as host of the upcoming U.S. reality competition series "Skating with the Stars," ABC said Thursday.

U.S. Olympic ice dancer Tanith Belbin will be the color commentator on the show, set to premiere Nov. 22.

The network also announced the professional skaters with whom the celebrities will be paired: Bethenny Frankel and Ethan Burgess; Brandon Mychal Smith and Keauna McLaughlin; Jonny Moseley and Brooke Castile; Rebecca Budig and Fred Palascak; Sean Young and Denis Petukhov; and Vince Neil and Jennifer Wester.

"All six pairs will take to the ice with their professional partners for the first time in front of a live audience, with the pairs performing high-paced ice dancing moves and dazzling figure-skating routines," ABC said in a news release. "The pairs will need to be perfectly in sync as they speed across the unforgiving ice. The pair with the lowest ranking following the judges' scores and votes from the public will be sent home the following week."
