Season 2 of 'Cleveland' in production

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Production on the second season of the U.S. sitcom, "Hot in Cleveland," began this week, TV Land said.

The show's 20-episode season is set to start airing Jan. 19.

Starring Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White, the series is the cable network's highest-rated and most-watched series ever.

"We can't wait to get started on creating 20 more hilarious episodes of this global sensation," Larry W. Jones, president of TV Land, said in a statement Tuesday. "We have amazing story lines, twists and turns in store for our growing number of fans of the series."

Season 1 of the show will be available on DVD Jan. 11.
