Stephanopoulos lands Obama interview

CLEVELAND, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- "Good Morning America" co-anchor George Stephanopoulos has booked an exclusive interview with U.S. President Barack Obama, ABC announced.

The chat is to be conducted in Cleveland and is scheduled to air on Thursday's edition of "GMA."

ABC noted the interview comes as the president this week proposes new initiatives to rebuild the economy and create jobs.

Viewers are invited to submit questions for Obama at http://blogs.abcnews.com/george/2010/09/what-should-i-ask-president-obama.html, ABC said.
