NEW YORK, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Amy Poehler is to serve as guest host of the sketch comedy series' 36th season premiere in New York, NBC said.
The musical guest for the Sept. 25 edition of the show will be pop star Katy Perry.
Vanessa Bayer, Paul Brittain, Taran Killam and Jay Pharoah are expected to join the cast as featured players during the episode as well.
